Wendy, currently studying Risk Management and Insurance at Tamkang University, used to believe that going abroad was an unreachable dream during her childhood. However, after participating in an overseas competition, she realized that the world outside was different from what she had imagined, filled with many fascinating things. At that moment, Wendy silently made a wish in her heart - to have the opportunity to study abroad in the future. She firmly believed that such an experience would bring immeasurable richness and growth to her life, as well as open up a broader perspective of the world.

At the age of 15, Wendy was selected as a member of the Taiwanese national field hockey team for the first time. She represented her country in both the youth and adult women's categories. However, she was the youngest and often felt isolated within the team. Nevertheless, her expertise in this sport provided her with numerous opportunities to bring glory to her country. Moreover, the achievements she accomplished in competitions helped Wendy stand out among her many academic experiences, opening up many unknown doors for her.

During the initial preparation phase, Wendy hadn't even started preparing for the TOEFL exam. With multiple essays to write simultaneously and the pressure of academic responsibilities, she once considered giving up and starting over the following year. However, through the detailed explanations of her consultant Johnny, who highlighted the advantages of her academic experiences, and through continuous encouragement and patient guidance on interview and essay writing directions, Wendy found peace of mind and gained immense confidence.

In the end, she was accepted into university and even received a substantial scholarship. This not only reassured her mother but also allowed her to share this glory with classmates and loved ones in advance. It also alleviated a significant portion of the financial burden on her educational journey, enabling her to focus more on her studies and explore different worlds.

With a dream in his heart, Wendy aspires to obtain the FRM (Financial Risk Manager) certification, which would provide him with greater recognition and opportunities in the field of finance. She envisions linking her professional development with the United States, engaging in exchanges with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, and expanding his network of connections. This would pave the way for a future filled with achievements and diverse experiences, enriching her path forward.
